Lundqvist Leds Rangers Over Ducks 4-1

Henrik Lundqvist made 43 saves as the New York Rangers beat the Anaheim Ducks 4-1 on Tuesday night. For the Rangers that pushed their winning streak to three in a row.
The offense got started in the first period when Oscar Lindberg scored a wrist shot goal. Pavel Buchnevich and Marc Staal were credited with the assists. After the first period the Rangers held a 1-0 advantage.
In the second period the Rangers struck early. Mats Zuccarello scored a snap shot goal that was assisted by Chris Kredier and Brady Skjei. This pushed the lead to 2-0.
A few minutes later Jakob Silfverberg put the Ducks on the board with a snap shot goal of his own. Andrew Cogliano was credited with the assist and after the second period the Ducks trailed 2-1.
Micheal Grabner scored a wrist shot goal at the start of the third period. His goal was assisted by J.T. Miller and Skjei. Grabner scored his second goal of the night with a empty net goal that was assisted by Miller and Kevin Hayes.
For Anaheim John Gibson made 16 saves for a .842 save percentage. On the other hand Lundqvist made 43 saves for a .977 save percentage. Anaheim will take on the Buffalo Sabers on Thursday night.
