It did not take Gus Bradley long to get back into the NFL. Bradley was fired in December as head coach of the Jaguars after he compiled a 14-48 record in four years with the team. Bradley was the key architect of the Seattle Seahawks defense that won the Super Bowl in the 2013 season over the Denver Broncos.
After he withdrew his name with two defensive positions with San Francisco and Washington, Bradley was the target of the Chargers to replace former defensive coordinator John Pagano who was not retained by the team.
With the addition of Bradley, the team will change the defensive scheme from the 3-4 to the 4-3. The change was successful for both the Seahawks and the Jaguars.
