Lakers Lead Wire To Wire In Win Vs Pacers

The Lakers put together a 48-minute effort last night vs Indiana in a 108-96 victory. The win snapped a five-game losing streak and sent them to 16-31 on the season.

Lou Williams went off for 27 off the bench on 7-15 shooting over 30 minutes. Williams hit four triples in eight attempts. Julius Randle, Brandon Ingram and Nick Young each finished with 16, 15 and 15, respectively.

Tarik Black grabbed 13 boards while Timofey Mozgov tallied 11 of his own.

Paul George dropped 21 for Indiana on 15 over 36 minutes. Al Jefferson scored 20 off the bench in only 17 minutes.

As a team, LA had a slight edge from the field, shooting 42.4% to the Pacers’ 41.7%. Los Angeles shot 80% from the charity stripe while Indiana finished with a 72% mark. They out-rebounded the Pacers, 54-48, including 16-8 on the offensive glass.

The Pacers turned it over 20 times which the Lakers turned into 28 points. Indiana netted 29 off Los Angeles’ 24 giveaways.

Los Angeles absolutely dominated in the paint, outscoring Indiana, 52-36.

LA’s largest lead was 20, the the Lakers trailed just a few times very briefly.

Final score: LA 106, Pacers 98.

The team are in Dallas to play the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday afternoon.
