Head Coach Byron Scott told Medina and dailysportsnews.com that Bryant is fine with the rest and that it didn’t take any convincing to do.
“You (reporters) might think he probably argued about it. But he said it sounds good to him,” Scott said. “He stuck to his plan of ‘Whatever you want to do.’ ”
The Lakers will play three games in four nights starting on Wednesday and will need Bryant for that stretch of games. It seems as if Kobe Bryant will rest the second night of back to backs until further notice. The rest as done wonders for Bryant as he has looked extremely fresh since returning to the lineup.
