Angels Agree With To Deal With Kole Calhoun

According to Jon Heyman of FanRags.com the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have agreed to a deal to avoid arbitration with outfielder Kole Calhoun.

Calhoun is a former 8th round pick of the Angels back in the 2010 MLB Draft. Calhoun made his major league debut with the club in 2012 and has been a full-time starter since 2014.
Calhoun won a Gold Glove award for his defensive efforts in the 2015 season. Last season Calhoun hit .271 with a .348 OBP. He hit 18 homeruns and recorded in 75 RBI’s while playing in 157 games.
The Angels reached agreements with a few of their players yesterday as they look to lock of their roster for the 2017 season. Calhoun serves to be a major part of the Angels going forward.
