The Los Angeles Clippers will host the Atlanta Hawks tonight at Staples Center. Tonight will be a good test for the Clippers who are currently on a three game winning streak after beating the 76ers on Saturday night 127-91.
The Hawks have already met once this season back on December 23rd which resulted in the Hawks winning by a narrow margin 107-104. Tonight’s game will be the last of a three game road trip for the Hawks as they themselves are on a four game winning streak of their own, including 9 out of the last 10.
Clippers fans hope that DeAndre Jordan will play the way he did against the Hawks last time out. He had 15 points and 22 rebounds in the loss. Jamal Crawford struggled the last time these two teams played as he shot just 5-19.
For the Hawks their current win streak has put them atop the Eastern Conference. They have used a workman’s mentality and continue to stay focused game in and game out. They beat the Portland Trail Blazers in Portland on Saturday behind Paul Millsap’s 27’s points.
People continue to doubt this Hawks team even though they currently rank 3rd in assists per game and 5th in points allowed per game. With both teams playing great basketball, fans are in for a treat tonight!
