Clayton Stoner Out 4-6 Weeks

According to Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times, Anaheim Ducks defensemen Clayton Stoner will miss four to six weeks after undergoing abdominal surgery.

Elliott Teaford of the Southern California News Group also reported the news.

Zupke reported further details on the news.

Stoner is a former third round pick of the Minnesota Wild in the 2004 NHL Draft. He spent five seasons with the Wild before joining the Ducks.

This season with the Ducks he has played in 14 games and totaled three points. He is averaging about 17 minutes of ice time a game.
