Gordon a first round pick in the 2015 NFL draft has found his stride in 2016. This year he has played in 13 games and has rushed for 997 yards and 10 touchdowns.
He also has 41 receptions for 419 yards and 2 touchdowns. San Diego who has loss three in a row and four out of the last five find themselves at the bottom of the AFC West.
San Diego has struggles have continued holding leads and it looks like they will miss the playoffs for the third straight season. With a team struggling and no stadium agreed upon a move to Los Angeles could be in the Chargers cards in the near future.
A move to Los Angeles could make financial sense for Los Angeles however the Rams aren’t having success either. It would be interesting to see how fans would react to having two teams in Los Angeles who are struggling to have success.
Melvin Gordon is just three yards shy of reaching 1,000 for the season. Hopefully his injury will allow him to play at least one more game this season.
