Holland is a former 10th round pick of the Royals in the 2007 MLB Draft. He has spent his entire career with the Royals, being named an All-Star in 2013, and 2014.
Holland missed the entire 2016 season due to Tommy John Surgery. In 2014 he posted a 3.83 ERA and recorded 32 saves for the Royals. He also pitched 44.2 innings.
