Black was ruled out earlier in the week due to injury. He joins D’Angelo Russell, Nick Young, and Jose Calderon as Lakers’ players dealing with all sorts of injuries. Russell is expected to be back at some point next week to help sort out the Lakers struggles.
Los Angeles is in the midst of their toughest stretch of the year. Their defensive intensity has lacked as of late.
Los Angeles has loss four out of the last five games and look to regroup tonight against Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns. Head coach Luke Walton was unhappy with the club’s effort in their most recent loss to the Houston Rockets.
