Tarik Black To Miss Tonight’s Game With Sprained Ankle

According to Jesse Doughtery of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Lakers center Tarik Black will miss tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets due to an sprained ankle.
Lakers players not traveling on one-day trip to Houston: D’Angelo Russell, Jose Calderon, Nick Young + Tarik Black. That leaves 11 players.

The Lakers reported that Black did not participate in practice yesterday.
Larry Nance Jr. (knee contusion) participated in practice today, but Tarik Black (ankle sprain) did not.

Black has played in 23 games this season serving as the backup center to Timofey Mozgov. Black is averaging 6 points and 5 rebounds per game.
Los Angeles is dealing with their fair share of injuries right now. D’Angelo Russell has been cleared to participate in on court workouts but Nick Young, Jose Calderon, and Larry Nance Jr. are all battling injuries.
