Russell has been battling a knee injury that forced to miss the game against the San Antonio Spurs last week. Russell is a key part of this young Lakers team and any time he misses hurts Los Angeles.
Russell was a game time decision against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday night and struggles from the field. He ended up shooting just 3/11 from the field, 2/9 from deep.
Los Angeles will have to find a way to slow down Russell Westbrook and the Thunder tonight at the Staples Center. Los Angeles began the season playing well and have hit a tough stretch in their schedule will need to rely on defense to get back to their winning ways.
