Lakers Lose To Spurs 116-107

Without D’Angelo Russell, the Lakers came up short end the loss to the San Antonio Spurs, 116-107.
For the first time this season they were without the services of one of their young stars D’Angelo Russell, who was forced to miss this game with a sore left knee. Nick Young, Jordan Clarkson, and Lou Williams all scored over 20 points each, but it wasn’t enough to hold off a very balanced Spurs attack. All five of the Spurs starters scored in double figures.
The Spurs build a solid 10 point lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Lakers even the score at 52 apiece at halftime. In the third quarter, the Spurs outscored us 39-24, but even with the Lakers outscoring the Spurs by six in the fourth, the team wasn’t able to overcome the final nine-point deficit.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Despite the fact that LA out-rebounded the Spurs (48-39) and outscored them in the paint (36-28), but one of the key points was the turnovers for Lakers (14-12).

The team will stay at home to welcome in the Jimmy Butler, Dwayne Wade, and Chicago Bulls. The Lakers (7-6) are now four games behind the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA’s Pacific Division.
