Trout is a 5-time All-Star who has finished in the top two for the MVP voting in each of the past five seasons. By Trout winning this year’s MVP award Trout has put himself in elite company.
He has led the American league in WAR each of the last five years, the only other person to ever do that is Babe Ruth.
Congratulations Mr. Trout! You deserve this award!
