On New Years Day, the Los Angeles Kings started the new year with a bang by coming back and beating the Vancouver Canucks on the road.  Pumped up from the victory and still in a festive and celebratory mood, I felt the need to write about the year we had just left behind, the year 2014. A memorable and glorious year, that will never be forgotten through the sands of time for the Los Angeles Kings, by either player or fan.  2014 was nothing less than a roller coaster ride for the ages.  There were frustrations, tears, laughs, scorpion kicks and even some jazz hands!

So please grab the tasty beverage of your choice and find a comfortable seat and lets time travel back together and relive (with the help of You Tube of course) 8 major highlights (and lowlights) of the year that was 2014, a year of infamy for our Los Angeles Kings. A year that was like no other.
