Clippers Improve To 6-1 With Win Over Pistons

The Los Angeles Clippers continued their strong play to start the season as they beat the Detroit Pistons 114-82 on Monday night. For Los Angeles they have won 6 out of their first 7 games.
Chris Paul led the way with 24 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds while J.J. Redick chipped in 20 as well. Blake Griffin was 1 assist shy from a triple-double as he finished with 13 points, 9 assists, and 10 rebounds.
Austin Rivers and Raymond Felton each reached double figures off the bench with 11 and 10 points respectively. For the Pistons Andre Drummond led the way with the double-double. He had 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris reached double figures with 12 and 10 points. Jon Leuer and Stanley Johnson also reached double figures with 14 and 11 points.
Los Angeles came out the gates quick posting a 33-15 lead that the Pistons could never overcome. The three ball was falling for the Clippers as they connected on 13 of their 25 attempts.
Los Angeles will look to continue the momentum when they take on the Portland Trial Blazers at the Staples Center on Wednesday night.
