According to Marc Spears of ESPN.com the Milwaukee Bucks have waived former Los Angeles Lakers guard Jabari Brown.
Eric Pincus of Basketball Insiders also reported the news.
Brown played his college ball at Missouri with Laker guard Jordan Clarkson. He ended up playing for the LA Defenders in the 2014-2015 season and got a chance to play for the Lakers that season.
He ended up playing in 19 games, starting in 5 of them. He averaged 12 points per game and many believed that he would make the Lakers roster the next season.
However Byron Scott selected Metta World Peace over Brown and Brown ended up in the CBA. Brown is a skilled player who deserves a shot in the league. It’s unfortunate he was unable to make Jason Kidd‘s team in Milwaukee.
