Tanner Pearson Suspended 4 Games

@oilers_fanly

According to Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider, Los Angeles Kings forward Tanner Pearson has been suspended for four games due to an illegal check to the head.

Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times reported the news.

Dillman spoke to Pearson about the suspension.

Pearson is a former first round pick of the Los Angeles Kings back in the 2012 NHL Draft. He had his most productive season as a pro last season when he played in 79 games.

In those 79 games Pearson recorded 36 points, 15 goals and 21 assists. He also recorded a career high in average ice time at 14:28.

It’s unfortunate that Pearson will be unavialble for Darryl Sutter but Los Angels will look to start strong even without one of their wingers.
