Pearson is a former first round pick of the Los Angeles Kings back in the 2012 NHL Draft. He had his most productive season as a pro last season when he played in 79 games.
In those 79 games Pearson recorded 36 points, 15 goals and 21 assists. He also recorded a career high in average ice time at 14:28.
It’s unfortunate that Pearson will be unavialble for Darryl Sutter but Los Angels will look to start strong even without one of their wingers.
