Tyler Skaggs Has No Structural Damage In Elbow

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitcher Tyler Skaggs has no structural damage in his elbow.

Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reported further information.
The Angels are saying Tyler Skaggs’ ulnar collateral ligament is fine. Will follow up with an exact diagnosis shortly.

Fletcher reported further information.
Tyler Skaggs said he was never worried anything was wrong with his elbow, although it had been bothering him before Tuesday.

With the news Skaggs will have to sit out about a week and could pitch later this season. Skaggs is a former first round pick of the Angels in the 2009 MLB Draft.
Skaggs as pitched in nine games this season posting a 4.13 ERA. He posted a 3-3 record before dealing numerous injuries.
