Wil Myers supplied San Diego with their only run of the day in the eighth on a run scoring single off Casey Fien, but Kenley Jansen shut the door on any hopes of a comeback in the ninth, locking down the Dodgers’ 5-1 victory. Rich Hill is 2-0 since being acquired.
