The Los Angeles Lakers will travel to Denver tonight to take on the Nuggets tonight. While the Lakers are coming off a loss to the Phoenix Suns in their last game they hope to right the ship with a win tonight.
Kobe Bryant made his return to the lineup after missing 3 straight games due to body soreness. Bryant has been playing heavy minutes throughout the year and Byron Scott will look to lower the minutes in the coming games.
So far this season has been a struggle for the Lakers. They are currently 9-22 and at the bottom of the Western Conference.
The Lakers and Nuggets have already met once this season. The Nuggets came out of the game with the win in overtime 101-94.
For the Nuggets they aren’t off to the start they hoped for. They are currently 13-18 and are coming off a close loss to the Toronto Raptors.
Arron Afflalo has been in a shooting slump for the Nuggets. However over his last five games against the Lakers he is averaging 21 points a game.
It will be a fast pace game as the both teams like to push the ball and lack defense. The Nuggets and Lakers rank 27th and 30th in points allowed per game.
