Puig was the subject of trade rumors at the trade deadline and was unable to be moved. He then was sent down to Triple-A Oklahoma City where he has played well.
Since joining Oklahoma City Puig is hitting .348 and may have found his rhythm again. With Los Angeles trying to win the World Series for the first time since 1988 they will need all hands on deck who can contribute and Puig could help that playoff push.
