Clayton Kershaw To Make Rehab Start This Weekend

According to Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw will make a rehab start in Single-A this weekend.

Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register also reported the news.

Kershaw has missed significant time this season with a back injury and the Dodgers are anxious for his return. He did throw in a simulated game this week with no setbacks to the organization is optimistic that he will be ready to go sooner rather than later.
Los Angeles will open up their series against the San Diego Padres at Dodger stadium tonight at 7:10 p.m. PST. Clayton Richard and Julio Urias are the projected starters.
