Bill Oram of the Orange County Register shared his thoughts on the news.
My wife is a nurse. I just explained Julius Randle’s hand injury (cut between fingers requiring 7 stitches). She grimaced & said, “Painful!”

Randle will be re-evaluated in two weeks but should be ready to go when training camp begins in later September. Randle will still be able to participate in conditioning workouts.
The young forward from the University of Kentucky is set to have a major role with the club next season. The additions of Brandon Ingram, Luol Deng, and Luke Walton should make the Lakers season some exciting.
