Tim Lincecum Accepts Assignment To Triple-A

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitcher Tim Lincecum has accepted his assignment to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Tim Lincecum has decided to accept the #Angels assignment to AAA.

Anaheim confirmed the news on their official Twitter account.

Since joining the Angels Lincecum is has struggled mightily. He currently has a 9.16 ERA and will go down to the minor leagues to try and find his form.
The former two time Cy Young award winning pitcher won three World Series rings with the San Francisco Giants before suffering last season. He held a workout early in 2016 and the Angels felt he could contribute.
