Bud Norris Lands on DL

According to J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group, the Los Angeles Dodgers have placed starting pitcher Bud Norris on the 15-day disabled list.
Ross Stripling is expected to start Saturday and Rich Hill Sunday. Bud Norris (strained lat muscle) is expected to go on the 15-day DL.

Norris left his last start early after experiencing back pain. After running test the organization revealed that he had a back strain moved him the disabled list.
The Los Angeles Dodgers confirmed the news on their official Twitter account.
#Dodgers today recalled RHP Ross Stripling and placed RHP Bud Norris on the 15-day DL with a mild mid-back strain (retroactive to Aug. 1).

Norris has started in seven games this year and has posted a 3-2 record with a 4.34 ERA. Los Angeles will turn to Ross Stripling and Brandon McCarthy this weekend.
