Dodgers Send Yasiel Puig To Minors

According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network the Los Angeles Dodgers have optioned outfielder Yasiel Puig.
Interesting: #Dodgers have not said publicly to which minor-league affiliate Yasiel Puig will go. But he has been optioned. @MLB

Puig has struggled this season is has a career low .706 OPS. Reports surfaced yesterday that the Dodgers were trying to move him or they would send him down.
The Los Angeles Dodgers announced the news on their official Twitter account.

Puig has fallen off the map after his quick rise to stardom in the majors. It will be interesting to see if Puig uses this minor league stint as a way to begin to prove himself or he takes it the other way.
