Jones spent eight years with the Packers and one year with the Oakland Raiders. Last season with the Packers he played in 16 games and started in 15.
He caught 50 passes for 890 yards. With Steve Johnson potentially out for the year San Diego is looking for a veteran receiver to help the core.
