BREAKING: Angels Trade Hector Santiago To Twins

@MLBONFOX

According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have traded starting pitcher Hector Santiago to the Minnesota Twins.

Rosenthal reported that the Angels will receive Ricky Nolasco and a prospect in the deal.

Santiago was in his third year with the Angels after spending three years with the Chicago White Sox. He was an All-Star in 2015 with the club.

This year Santiago has been up and down although he does have a 10-4 record. His ERA is at 4.25. Anaheim saw the opportunity to sell at the deadline and made the move for the future.

Rosenthal reported further details.
