Cincinnati Bengals Sign Jimmy Wilson

According to Aaron Wilson of ESPN.com the Cincinnati Bengals have signed former San Diego Chargers strong safety Jimmy Wilson.

Paul Dehner of the Cincinnati Enquirer also reported the news.

Wilson who will turn 30-years-old this weekend was drafted in the 7th round out of the University of Montana. He spent the first five years of his career with the Miami Dolphins before joining the Chargers last season.
Last season with the club Wilson played in 13 games starting in 7 of them. He recorded one interception and also recovered one fumble as well.
The Bolts cut Wilson in December and eventually signed with the Kansas City Chiefs but did not appear in any games.For the Bengals they are hoping that Wilson can provide some veteran leadership.
