LA Kings Re-Sign Nic Dowd

According to Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Kings have re-signed restricted free agent center Nic Dowd to a two-year deal.
Back to pucks: Kings signed three restricted free agents: goalie Jack Campbell, center Nic Dowd and defenseman Derek Forbort. 2 years each.

Dowd was 7th round pick in the 2009 NHL Draft to the Kings. He spent most of the year with the AHL Ontario Reign last season but did make his NHL debut as well.
He appeared in 5 games for the Kings recording 6 hits. Dowd was a piece of the puzzle that won the 2015 Calder Cup Championship as well.
Dowd will get more opportunities in 2016 but will fully be entrenched in the NHL in 2017 due to his one-way contract. As more information surfaces on the Kings and their offseason news we will keep you up to date.
