Schultz is a former first round pick of the Washington Capitals in the 2004 NHL Draft. He spent 7 years with the capitals before joining the Los Angeles Kings in 2014.
Last season with the Kings Schultz appeared in just one game spending most of his time with the Ontario Reign. Schultz will most likely spend most of the season with the San Diego Gulls and be called up if needed.
Schultz is looking to have better luck with Los Angeles’ rival Anaheim. Anaheim has made a couple of moves to help improve their depth going forward. As more information surfaces on the Ducks and their offseason we will keep you up to date.
