Austin Rivers Re-Signs With Clippers

@Blazers_FZ

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical the Los Angeles Clippers have re-signed free agent point guard Austin Rivers to a three-year deal worth $35 million dollars.

Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times also reported the news.

Arash Markski of ESPN.com had this to say about the move.

Rivers at just 24-years-old has a bright future in front of him. Playing and learning behind superstar Chris Paul will only help the guard going forward.

Yes, there were plenty of jokes about Austin staying in Los Angeles with his Dad Doc Rivers. Amin Elhassan had this:

Although the Clippers look to have missed on Kevin Durant and Jeff Green they were able to bring back Wesley Johnson and Rivers which is a win in itself.
