Deng is a former first round pick of the Chicago Bulls in the 2004 NBA draft. Deng played with Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah during the Bulls most recent stretch good basketball.
He was later traded to the Cavaliers in attempt to make a late season push to the playoffs that failed. He became a free agent and joined forces with Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami.
Known for his defense and leadership ability, Deng should be a great fit in Los Angeles. The Lakers are lacking leadership after the departures of Kobe Bryant, Metta World, and Brandon Bass.
