Clarkson was a second round pick by the Washington Wizards was traded to the Lakers on draft night in 2014. After some stints in the d-league Clarkson got his chance in the NBA and hasn’t looked back.
Last season Clarkson and D’Angelo Russell manned the backcourt with Kobe Bryant playing the small forward position. With new coach Luke Walton it looks like the Lakers will continue with that same lineup inserting Brandon Ingram at the small forward alongside Julius Randle and new acquired Timofey Mozgov at the center.
