Lakers Reach Out To Evan Turner

@KobeTeam24

According to David Aldridge of TNT the Los Angeles Lakers have reached out to free agent Evan Turner.

Turner was the number two pick in the 2010 NBA draft to the Philadelphia 76ers spent last season with the Boston Celtics. The 27-year old is a small forward who has a lot of point guard skills but is also a great perimeter defender.

Last season with Boston Turner came off the bench primarily and averaged 10.5 points per game in 28 minutes a night. With the Lakers already agreeing to a deal in principle with Timofey Mozgov Los Angeles may be looking at some of the cheaper alternatives to Hassan Whiteside and Harrison Barnes.

Turner may be that Andre Iguodala type of player that Luke Walton is looking for in his first season as a head coach. The Lakers will continue to be active and reports surfaced that their is interest on both Turner and the Lakers camp.
