Montas was rehabbing from a rib injury and allowed just two runs in his 12 innings of rehab starts. He was on the 60-day disabled list.
Montas was part of the three team trade with the Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds that involved Tracye Thompson and Todd Frazier. At just 23-years of age Montas is a promising prospect and should be able to help the Dodgers rotation later in the year.
Los Angeles is currently in a battle with the Giants and continue their series tonight.
