Calgary Flames Vs. Los Angeles Kings Start Time, Preview, TV

The Los Angeles Kings will take on the Calgary Flames at home tonight. The Kings were able to finish strong as the beat the Arizona Coyotes in a game that ended 4-2 and are now 2-0-0.

Tonight will be the third of fourth game homestead for the Kings. Special teams really helped to bring their win home as they are 5-for-11 on the power play over the past two games. He said this to NHL.com media after the game:

“I can’t tell you,” center Anze Kopitar said when asked about the recent outburst with the man advantage. “We’re moving the puck good and we’re getting some good looks. A couple of bounces here and there is nice to get.”

As for the Calgary Flames, their lose streak hit eight on Saturday but not for lack of effort.

“We talked about our character since the start of the year,” coach Bob Hartley said. “I felt it would have been easy to fold the tent tonight, second game in two nights, but credit to our guys, they battled back.”

The Kings will look to get back on track at home as they are quickly digging themselves a hole in the Pacific division standings.

The Calgary Flames won three of five games against the Los Angeles Kings in 2013-14 season. Let’s hope the Kings can take advantage of the Calgary Flames’ deficiencies and continue their homestand winnings.
