Keenan Allen Signs Four-Year Extension

According to Micheal Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune, the San Diego Chargers have agreed to a four year contract extension with wide receiver Keenan Allen.

Ian Rapport of NFL.com also reported the news.

Allen went to Twitter to show his excitement with the extension.

Allen has been one of the most productive receivers in the league the last few years. He was on his way to a career year before going down with a lacerated kidney last season.
With Antonio Gates getting older and Malcom Floyd retiring the Chargers needed to lock up Allen as he was set to become a free agent next summer.
