Padres Option Kevin Quackenbush

According to A.J. Cassavell of MLB.com the San Diego Padres have optioned Kevin Quackenbush to Triple-A El Paso.

Denis Lin of the San Diego Union Tribune also reported the news.
The Padres have officially activated Andrew Cashner, who will start tonight. Kevin Quackenbush has been optioned to El Paso.

Quackenbush is a former 8th round pick of the Padres in the 2011 MLB draft. This season he has appeared in 24 games and has pitched 21.1 innings.
He sports a ERA of 4.64 and will get some reps in El Paso. As more information surfaces on the Padres and their roster moves we will keep you up to date.
