D’Angelo Russell Selected NBA’s All Rookie Second Team

If you still have doubts that D’Angelo Russell has a strong future, the signs are getting stronger, pointing in the direction of DUH.

Yesterday the NBA announced their All-Rookie First & Second Team(s) and D’Angelo was named to the Second Team!

He was ranked ninth in Rookie Of the Year voting, losing to Karl-Anthony Towns.

The voting panel for the NBA All-Rookie Team consists of 13 sports writers and broadcasters. The only guard who made the first team was the kid from Phoenix, Devin Booker.

D’Angelo rounded out the Second Team with the company of Emmanuel Mudiay, Justise Winslow, Myles turner, and Willie Cauley-Stein.

Russell averaged 13.2 points and 3.3 assists this season.
