Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported why the San Francisco Giants didn’t re-sign the former Cy Young winner.
The #SFGiants, even with rotation struggles, simply didn’t believe Tim Lincecum could be dominant starter again and only had interest in pen.

Lincecum has not pitched in the majors since June of last year. The three time World Series Champion was a key member of the Giants over the years.
With the Los Angeles Angels struggling with injuries and depth in their rotation they made the decison to pursue Linceum.
The deal is a low risk high reward for the Angels. As more information surfaces on the Angels and their roster moves we will keep you up to date.
