Austin Rivers On The Vertical Podcast

Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical had Clippers guard Austin Rivers on his podcast last week after the Clippers disappointing playoff finish.

Wojnarowski and Rivers spoke on his upbringing with his mother in Orlando, and his rise to the NBA. It’s worth a listen check it out below.

NBA people who don’t watch much Clippers basketball don’t understand the value of Rivers. The Winter Park native has not had the fast start that a lottery pick is expected to have. With the move to Los Angeles he has found his way and has the option to opt out this summer.

Rivers will have a decision to make this summer on what he wants to do with his career. Does he believe in the Clippers and their chances in the West? Or does he want to test the waters and look for a bigger role elsewhere?
