Scifres is a former 5th round pick of the Chargers back in the 2003 NFL Draft. He has spent his entire career with the Bolts.
Last season he made 72 punts for an average of 45.3 yards a kick. The Chargers selected Drew Kaser out of Texas A&M in the fourth round of the draft and will close the chapter on the Scifres era.
We’d like to thank Scifres for his service over the years and will be truly missed. As more information surfaces on the Chargers and their offseason news we will continue to keep you up to date.
