Kesler co-captained the Ducks team that won their fourth Pacific Division title in four years after a slow start by the club. Anaheim met with the Nashville Predators in the first round and lost in seven games.
With the disappointing finish to the season it is nice for Kesler to get some recognition for his strong play.
Kesler will go up against Los Angeles King rival Anze Kopitar for the award. As more information surfaces on the Ducks and their offseason news we will keep you up to date.
