Many experts believe that Luke Walton is the favorite for the Lakers and go as far to say the job is his he wants it. Ettore Messina is gaining steam as a legitimate option for the job as well.
Luke’s Lakers ties run strong as he won two titles with the club back in 2009 and 2010. Walton took over the Warriors this season when Steve Kerr was forced to miss time with a back injury and led the team to a 39-4 clip.
