Halos Send A.J. Achter To Triple-A

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have sent down pitcher A.J. Achter to Triple-A.
Angels have recalled LHP Greg Mahle and optioned AJ Achter. First MLB call-up for Westminster HS product.

Pedro Moura of Los Angeles Times also reported the news.

Achter is a former 46th round pick of the Minnesota Twins of the 2010 MLB Draft. He spent two years with the Twins before joining the Angels this season.
Last season with the Twins he posted a 0-1 record with a 6.75 ERA. He 11 games he pitched 13.1 innings to go along with 14 strikeouts.
Los Angeles is coming off a win against the Oakland Athletics last night. Mike Trout hit his first homerun of the year in the victory.
