Clippers Host Portland Trial Blazers
- Updated: March 24, 2016
The Los Angeles Clippers will host the Portland Trail Blazers tonight at the Staples Center. Los Angeles is coming off a tough loss to the Golden State Warriors last night.
Portland comes into the game with a 37-35 record while Los Angeles sports a 43-27 clip. The Blazers have won two of their last three games.
With the Clippers losing three in a row and five of their last six games the club is hoping for a return of Blake Griffin sooner rather than later. Jeff Green made his return to the lineup after missing a few games due to concussion like symptoms.
Chris Paul will not have an easy night after facing Stephen Curry last night. Damian Lillard is one of the best guards in the league and has taken his All-Star snub personally.
Against the other guards who made the All-Star team Lillard has put up some huge numbers including a 50 point effort against Kyle Lowry.
C.J. McCollum is having a breakout season after the exit of shooting guard Wesley Matthews. McCollum is the favorite to win the most improved player of the year this season and is averaging 20.8 points a night. J.J. Redick will have a tough task on his hands trying to slow him down.
Los Angeles needs to get back in the win column tonight. Fans can get their tickets here.
