Chargers Re-Sign Kellen Clemens

According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle the San Diego Chargers have re-signed quarterback Kellen Clemens.

Jim Thomas of the St.Louis Post-Dispatch also reported the news.

Micheal Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reported details on the signing.
Chargers re-signed QB Kellen Clemens, team announced. One-year deal. The only player they added today who they hope never to see play.

Clemens is a former second round pick of the New York Jets back in the 2006 NFL Draft. He spent five years with the Jets before joining the St. Louis Rams for three years. He has spent the last two years with the Chargers as Philip Rivers backup.
With San Diego he has played in two games each of the last two years. Fans can get tickets to see the Bolts play next year here.
