Anaheim Ducks Look for 12th Straight Win

The Anaheim Ducks set a franchise record when they beat the Los Angeles Kings for their 11th straight victory over the weekend. Tonight Anaheim will take on the Washington Capitals as they go for their 12th straight.
Washington comes into the game with a 48-13-4 record, while Anaheim sits 37-19-8 on the season. The Capitals have won three of their last four games.
Simon Despres made his return to the lineup on Saturday afternoon. He was dealing with an illness. Ryan Getzlaf was back in action on Saturday as well as he was dealing with a lower body injury.
Washington is led by center Evgeny Kuznetsov. He has 66 points on the season, 20 goals and 46 and a +/- rating of 30.
Veteran center Nicklas Backstrom is second on the team in points. He has 17 goals and 44 assists on the season for 61 points with a +/- rating of 17.
When talking about the Capitals you can’t forget about veteran left winger Alex Ovechkin who is a goal scoring machine. He has 60 points on season, 41 goals and 19 assists.
Anaheim is playing at championship level right now and will look to extend the streak.
